We have an opportunity with a Reputed Chemical Company for the profile of Sr. Executive Process Engineer

Location: - Taloja

- General Shift 9.30 TO 5:30 PM
- Transport from Mumbra Station
- Friday Off - 6 Days working
- Canteen in subsidized rate.

Job Description: -

- Key Functions Analyse and optimize resin manufacturing processes, including Long, Medium and Short Oil Alkyds, UF, MF, Acrylic and Polyester resins, covering reaction, esterification, polycondensation, polymerization, dilution and filtration.
- Apply chemical engineering principles, reaction kinetics, heat and mass transfer, and thermodynamics to improve batch consistency, yield, cycle time and process efficiency.
- Evaluate reactor heating/cooling profiles, heat transfer efficiency, exotherm control, agitation, mixing, condensation, reflux, azeotropic water removal, vacuum stripping and solvent recovery.
- Identify Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) and Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs) and establish process operating windows to improve batch repeatability.
- Investigate batch-to-batch variability arising from raw materials, equipment, operating conditions, measurement systems and operator practices.
- Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC), Gauge R&R;, process capability analysis (Cp/Cpk), Design of Experiments (DOE) and root cause analysis to resolve recurring process problems.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues such as off-spec batches, viscosity and colour variation, high acid value, gelling, yield loss, rework and extended batch cycle time.
- Drive process optimization, scale-up, energy efficiency,



solvent loss reduction and manufacturing cost improvement through data-driven engineering solutions.
- Standardize critical operating parameters, endpoint criteria and manufacturing procedures; validate improvements through plant trials and batch data analysis.
- Work closely with Production, QC, R&D; and Maintenance teams to implement process improvements and ensure protected, consistent and reliable resin manufacturing.
