Fire Protection Project Engineer Roles & Responsibilities (India)

- Plan and execute fire protection projects, ensuring compliance with Indian fire safety standards and applicable NBC regulations.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm, firefighting, and fire suppression systems.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and local Fire & Rescue authorities for project approvals and inspections.
- Monitor project schedules, manpower, material procurement, budgets, and ensure timely project completion.
- Ensure compliance with relevant IS standards, NBC 2016, NFPA standards, and local fire safety regulations.
- Prepare technical submittals, shop drawings, BOQs, project reports, and handover documentation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure quality workmanship, site safety, and customer satisfaction
