Role & responsibilities

A. Curriculum Leadership

- Understand and implement the Oxford International Curriculum from Early Years through Lower Secondary
- Integrate English, Mathematics, Science, Computing, Wellbeing, Global Skills Projects, and Sustainability into a coherent academic programme
- Develop curriculum maps, annual academic plans, learning outcomes, and progression frameworks

B. Innovative Pedagogy

- Promote inquiry-based, experiential, cooperative, and project-based learning
- Develop students curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, communication, and independent-learning skills
- Replace rote learning with student-centered teaching practices
- Foster interdisciplinary learning and the real-world application of knowledge

C. Teacher Development

- Recruit, mentor, evaluate, and develop a high-performing teaching team
- Conduct classroom observations, demonstration lessons, professional-development programmes, and academic reviews
- Establish high standards for lesson planning, classroom management, and instructional delivery

D. Student Assessment and Development

- Implement continuous formative and summative assessment
- Monitor individual student progress and provide appropriate academic interventions
- Promote inclusive education, emotional wellbeing, confidence, creativity, and leadership

E. Technology and Digital Education

- Integrate interactive flat panels, digital learning resources, educational technology,



and AI-assisted teaching tools effectively
- Promote digital literacy, responsible technology use, and innovative classroom practices

F. School Establishment and Administration

- Establish academic systems, standard operating procedures, school policies, and quality-assurance mechanisms
- Manage admissions, parent orientation, staff performance, timetables, school events, and daily operations
- Ensure statutory compliance, child safeguarding, student safety, and institutional discipline
- Develop the schools academic identity and prepare it for expansion into higher grades and future international board affiliations

Preferred candidate profile

- Masters degree in a relevant academic discipline from a recognized university
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution
- Prior experience with the Oxford International Curriculum, Cambridge International, IB, ICSE, or another international educational framework
- Additional qualifications in educational leadership, school administration, international education, or curriculum development will be advantageous
- At least five years of classroom teaching experience
- At least five years of experience in academic coordination, school administration, staff management, and institutional operations
- Three to five years of proven experience as a Principal or Head of School
