1.Quality Inspection

- Conduct dimensional, visual, and specification-based inspection of proof machined and finish machined components as per applicable drawings, quality plans, and customer requirements.
- Verify compliance of components with export order specifications before dispatch.
- Ensure adherence to applicable quality standards, procedures, and inspection requirements.

2. Inspection Documentation

- Prepare, review, and maintain inspection reports, measurement records, and quality documentation.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of inspection records for customer submission and traceability.
- Maintain inspection data and quality records as per organizational requirements.

3. Process Improvement and Feedback

- Provide timely feedback to Machine Shop and Process Shop regarding quality issues identified during inspection.
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve dimensional and quality-related concerns.
- Monitor implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.

4. Root Cause Analysis and Preventive Actions

- Participate in investigation of quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
- Lead or support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities using appropriate quality tools.
- Coordinate with operations and machining teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).




- Verify effectiveness of implemented actions and promote continuous improvement.

5. NCR Management

- Review export-related Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) received from customers and internal departments.
- Analyze rejection trends and provide recommendations for quality improvement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely closure of NCRs and implementation of preventive measures.

6. Calibration Management

- Manage calibration activities for measuring and inspection instruments used in machining inspection.
- Ensure all gauges, instruments, and measuring equipment are calibrated within validity periods.
- Maintain calibration records and coordinate with approved calibration agencies when required.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Knowledge of machining processes, engineering drawings, and GD&T.;
- Hands-on experience in dimensional inspection and use of precision measuring instruments.
- Understanding of NCR handling, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and export quality requirements.
- Solid analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work closely with production, quality, and operations teams.
