Certification: Mandatory

Key Responsibilities
- Review inpatient medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM & ICD-10-PCS codes.
- Ensure accurate DRG assignment and reimbursement.
- Abstract diagnoses, procedures, complications, and comorbidities.
- Maintain coding accuracy as per coding guidelines and payer requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians and CDI teams for documentation improvement.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
