Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in compliance with safety standards and local building codes. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, a solid understanding of electrical systems, and a commitment to safe practices.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Assembly: Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, control systems, power outlets, and circuit breakers in residential, commercial, or industrial facilities.

Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose malfunctioning electrical systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment to locate and resolve the root cause of issues.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspection on electrical equipment, transformers, generators, and distribution panels to ensure long-term efficiency and safety.

*Blueprint Reading: Read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans.*

Code Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical installations meet National Electrical Code (NEC) specifications and local building regulations. Maintain a safe work workplace by following OSHA and company safety guidelines.





*Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of materials used, repairs performed, and hours worked on assigned projects.*

Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Credentials: High school diploma or GED required. Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or trade school diploma. Active Electrician License (Journeyman or Master Electrician) preferred.

Experience: 2+ years of proven experience as an electrician working in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

Technical Skills: Proficient with hand and power tools, electrical testing equipment and conduit bending tools.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces or at heights (ladders/scaffolding).

Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a strong work ethic.

Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if travel between job sites is required).
