1. Job Purpose

To ensure smooth and productive operation of production machinery by independently handling machine changeovers, machine settings, adjustments and basic troubleshooting, with the objective of achieving maximum production output, minimum downtime and consistent product quality.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Machine Changeover & Setting

· Independently perform machine changeovers for different products, packaging sizes and formats.

· Set and adjust machines according to product and packaging specifications.

· Minimize changeover time and ensure quick production line readiness.

· Conduct trial runs and fine-tune settings before starting regular production.

B. Production Efficiency & Output

· Ensure machines operate at optimum speed and efficiency.

· Achieve daily production targets with minimum downtime.

· Monitor machine performance and identify causes of reduced output.

· Reduce minor stoppages, rejection and material wastage.

· Continuously improve line productivity and operational efficiency.

Machine Troubleshooting & Maintenance

· Identify and resolve minor mechanical and operational issues.

· Perform routine adjustments and basic preventive maintenance.

· Coordinate with the maintenance team for major breakdowns.

· Ensure proper handling and care of machine parts, tools and changeover components.

D. Quality & Safety

· Ensure machine settings meet approved quality specifications.

· Monitor filling accuracy, crimping, sealing, capping and other relevant parameters.

· Follow standard operating procedures and industrial safety requirements.
