Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Accountant to manage our company's financial records, day-to-day bookkeeping, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will ensure complete financial accuracy, maintain compliance with local and national accounting standards, and provide key insights to support business growth and cost management.

Key Responsibilities

- General Ledger & Bookkeeping: Maintain general ledgers, journals, and core financial records. Record and categorize daily financial transactions accurately.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and track petty cash or payment gateways.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR): Monitor vendor invoices, process timely payments, track customer billings, and follow up on outstanding collections.
- Tax Preparation & Compliance: Assist with tax calculations, filings, GST/TDS or corporate returns, and ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Auditing Support:



Organize financial documentation and coordinate with internal or external auditors during review cycles.
- Budgeting & Analysis: Support management with variance analysis, expense tracking, and financial forecasting to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA/CMA certification is a strong plus).
- Experience: [2–5] years of proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial analysis.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with accounting platforms (TallyPrime, Zoho Books) and strong command of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial formulas).
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local tax laws.
- Soft Skills: High level of numerical accuracy, solid organizational skills, ethical integrity, and clear written/verbal communication.
