Job Purpose

To identify mechanical problems, carry out necessary repairs and ensure proper maintenance of production machinery for smooth and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify and diagnose mechanical faults and breakdowns in production machinery.
2. Independently carry out mechanical repairs and replacement of defective machine parts.
3. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines remain in positive working condition.
4. Inspect and maintain mechanical components such as bearings, gears, shafts, belts, chains, pumps and pneumatic systems.
5. Carry out machine dismantling, assembly, alignment and adjustments whenever required.
6. Identify recurring mechanical problems and implement corrective measures.
7.



Ensure timely repair of machines to minimize production downtime.
8. Maintain basic records of machine breakdowns, repairs and maintenance activities.
