Job PurposeIndependently manage accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, monitor branch accounting, handle statutory compliance and support management in financial reporting and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Operations

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate accounting entries.
- Review purchase, sales, expense and journal vouchers.
- Handle ledger scrutiny and reconciliation.
- Monitor debtor and creditor balances.
- Ensure proper accounting of branch expenses and inter-branch transactions.

2. GST & Statutory Compliance

- Handle GST workings and reconciliation with GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B.
- Monitor TDS calculations, deductions, payments and returns.
- Coordinate with auditors and consultants for statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely compliance and documentation.

3. Bank & Reconciliation

- Perform bank reconciliation and investigate unidentified transactions.




- Monitor cash and bank balances.
- Review customer receipts and payment adjustments.
- Ensure proper adjustment of outstanding MRs and on-account entries.

4. ERP & Tally Management

- Work on Tally Prime and ERP accounting software.
- Reconcile ERP data with Tally.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely corrections.
- Maintain proper ledger creation and prevent duplicate accounts.

5. MIS & Reporting

- Prepare monthly branch-wise Profit & Loss reports.
- Prepare debtor ageing and outstanding reports.
- Analyze branch expenses and profitability.
- Submit monthly financial reports within defined timelines.
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting.
- Required Skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
- Excellent working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Experience in ERP accounting systems.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS and bank reconciliation.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage accounting responsibilities.
