Role: Finance & Accounts Manager

Ghost Kitchens India is a food-tech company focused on building and scaling food brands through cloud kitchens, delivery-first concepts and quick-service restaurant (QSR) formats. The company works with restaurant partners and operates across multiple brands and cities, with a focus on business growth, operational efficiency and scalable food business models.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee the company's financial operations, accounting, taxation, banking, financial reporting and cash flow management.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in accounting, statutory compliance, financial planning and treasury management, preferably within the food, hospitality, restaurant or FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries and reconciliations.

- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and vendor payments.

- Ensure accurate and timely closure of monthly, quarterly and annual books of accounts.

- Monitor financial transactions across multiple business units and kitchen operations.

- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Handle GST returns, TDS deductions, filings and reconciliations.

- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants and tax authorities.

- Manage audit documentation and ensure timely completion of audits.

3. Treasury & Banking Operations

- Manage daily cash flow, fund allocation and liquidity planning.

- Handle banking transactions, fund transfers and bank reconciliations.

- Maintain banking relationships and oversee payment processes.





- Monitor cash flow forecasts and working capital requirements.

- Ensure proper financial controls and timely vendor settlements.

4. Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements and management reports.

- Monitor budgets, expenses, revenue and profitability.

- Analyse financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.

- Prepare business-wise and location-wise financial reports.

- Support management in financial planning and decision-making.

5. Business & Operational Finance

- Monitor financial performance across cloud kitchens, restaurant brands and business units.

- Reconcile sales and settlements received through online food delivery platforms and payment gateways.

- Track food costs, inventory expenses, vendor bills and operational expenditure.

- Monitor unit economics and profitability across business locations.

- Coordinate with operations and procurement teams for financial accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance. CA Inter / MBA Finance will be an added advantage.

- 4–7 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS and statutory compliance.

- Hands-on experience in treasury, cash flow management and banking operations.

- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and MIS preparation.

- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books or similar ERP systems.

- Robust analytical, problem-solving and reconciliation skills.

- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Industry Experience

- Candidates from the Food & Beverage (F&B;), Restaurant, Hospitality, FMCG or Cloud Kitchen industry will be preferred.

- Experience handling multi-location accounting, vendor management and high-volume financial transactions will be an added advantage.
