Role Description The Videographer at Hatch is a full time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for planning, shooting, and producing high-quality video content that supports clients’ brand identities. Day-to-day tasks include operating cameras and related equipment, setting up lighting for various environments, and capturing video footage for promotional, social media, and brand storytelling projects. The role involves collaborating with designers, writers, and strategists to interpret creative briefs, develop visual concepts, and ensure all video assets align with campaign goals.
The Videographer will also assist with basic editing, organizing footage, and maintaining equipment to ensure efficient production workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Shooting Video for branded content and storytelling.
- Proficient Camera Operation and experience handling different types of Camera and related gear.
- Knowledge of Lighting setups for indoor and outdoor shoots, including creative and practical lighting solutions.
- Experience with basic video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is beneficial.
- Ability to translate creative briefs into effective visual narratives and follow brand guidelines.
- Attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional creative teams.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, or visual communication is an advantage; a portfolio of previous work is required.
