About TARKO

TARKO (tarkoai.com) builds AI-powered visual inspection systems for manufacturers. Our systems sit on the production line, look at every part, and catch defects in real time. We’re a small, fast-moving team, so you’ll work directly with the founder and get hands-on with real factories from week one.

About the role

You’ll be the person who goes into the factory. You’ll visit client sites to understand their inspection problems, help set up and install our systems, build fixtures that hold cameras and lights in place, and explain to customers what the system does and how to use it. It’s a mix of engineering, hands-on building and talking to customers.

What you’ll do

- Visit client factories to do site audits: study the production line, the parts, the defects they want caught, and the space and lighting conditions
- Record what you find clearly
- Design and build brackets and fixtures, using CAD, 3D printing, aluminium profiles and basic hand and power tools
- Help install, align and test systems on site
- Help collect image data on the production line for training AI models
- Explain the product to plant managers, quality heads and operators: what it does, how it works




- Do first-level troubleshooting on site and pass issues back to the core team
- Support product demos and customer meetings

What we’re looking for (must-have)

- B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science or a related branch
- Based in Gurugram, Haryana (Head office is in Sector 48)
- Good spoken and written English. You should be comfortable explaining a technical product to a customer.
- Basic understanding of how AI / computer vision works (what a model is, what training and inference mean, what object detection is)
- Familiarity with GPUs
- Comfortable using tools and building physical things
- Happy to travel locally to factories and spend time on the shop floor
- CAD (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Onshape) and 3D printing experience
- Python and Linux command line
- Experience with AI prompt engineering

Good to have

- College projects in robotics, embedded systems, IoT or computer vision
- Any exposure to cameras, lenses or lighting
- Hindi fluency for talking with operators on the floor
- Two-wheeler or four-wheeler and a valid driving licence
