Job Brief: Join JSW Steel Limited's Maintenance Department as a dedicated team member responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and reliability of manufacturing equipment. This role involves hands-on maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support continuous production processes. The ideal candidate will contribute to minimizing downtime, enhancing equipment efficiency, and upholding safety standards in a fast-paced steel manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules and shutdown activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts replacements.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a protected working environment.




- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and report potential equipment failures to senior maintenance staff.
- Support inventory management by monitoring and requesting necessary spare parts and tools.
- Participate in continuous training programs to stay updated with the latest maintenance techniques and industry standards.
