Job Overview

Narwar Lakefront Resort is looking for a dedicated and skilled Tandoor Commi 2 to join our kitchen team. The candidate will assist in daily tandoor operations, food preparation, and maintaining quality standards while ensuring smooth kitchen functioning and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing and cooking tandoori dishes, kebabs, and Indian breads.
- Prepare marinades, dough, and other ingredients as per chef instructions.
- Perform daily mise en place for the tandoor section.
- Assist the Tandoor Commi 1 in managing daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the tandoor station and equipment.
- Follow proper food storage, labeling, and stock rotation procedures.
- Ensure secure handling and operation of tandoor equipment.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain proper utilization of ingredients.
- Follow kitchen SOPs and food safety standards.
- Coordinate with other kitchen team members during service.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality,



and professional conduct.

Requirements
- Minimum qualification: 10th or 12th Pass preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in tandoor or Indian cuisine.
- Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or restaurant preferred.
- Basic knowledge of tandoori breads, kebabs, marinades, and Indian cooking techniques.
- Ability to work under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
- Positive teamwork and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
