Key Responsibilities

- Solution, design, and develop backend systems, RESTful APIs, and core components of our industry-leading SaaS lending platform with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Research, evaluate, and introduce up-to-date technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns to solve complex engineering challenges and future-proof the platform.
- Propose, implement, and continuously refine performance enhancements, optimisation techniques, and scalable design strategies to support rapid growth and high transaction volumes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineering teams, DevOps, QA, and design to ensure seamless integration and delivery of mission-critical features.
- Own the end-to-end solution of assigned modules, ensuring high availability, security compliance, fault tolerance, and adherence to industry best practices.
- Conduct solution reviews, code reviews, and design audits to maintain high-quality engineering craftsmanship across the platform.

Preferred Qualifications





- Expertise in Express.js, React.js, and Node.js and its associated ecosystem.
- Ability to convert product requirements into robust, scalable engineering solutions.
- Proven track record of leading engineering teams to deliver high-quality, production-grade software.
- Strong understanding of multithreading, background job processing, scheduling, and related frameworks.
- Knowledge about microservice architectures and distributed system patterns.
- Proficiency in Linux-based systems and command-line operations.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Superset and Cucumber.
- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming and metaprogramming concepts.
- Experience working with relational databases and MongoDB.
- Working knowledge of server configuration, infrastructure management, and deployment practices.
- Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git.
