Role Description The Sr Civil Engineer will lead and manage civil engineering projects from planning through execution at the on-site location in Durgapur.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing structural and civil designs, drawings, and technical specifications; coordinating with architects, contractors, and suppliers; and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. The role involves supervising site activities, monitoring project progress, conducting quality checks, resolving technical issues, and preparing project reports and documentation.

Engineer will also support cost estimation, resource planning, and scheduling to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. This is a full-time,



in office role requiring regular presence at the Durgapur project location.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong civil engineering fundamentals, including structural analysis, design principles, and knowledge of construction materials and methods.
- Candidates should possess skills in project planning, site supervision, quality control, and safety management for civil construction projects.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCad or equivalent), and be comfortable interpreting drawings and technical documents.
- Candidates should possess effective communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management abilities to coordinate with internal teams and external contractors.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound technical decisions under time and resource constraints.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Several years of experience in civil or infrastructure projects, preferably in a senior or lead engineer capacity.
- Familiarity with Indian building codes, standards, and local regulatory requirements; experience in West Bengal or similar regions is an advantage.
