This position involves deep packet inspection software feature enhancements for Samsung's 4G/5G Network elements. The candidate is expected to be involved in feature development, testing and bug fixing for 4G/5G Network elements.

- Develop Deep packet inspection (DPI) features for Samsung's 4G/5G systems
- Coming up with approaches like Machine learning solutions for DPI domain, behavioural/heuristic for flow/signature detection etc.
- Research and develop new ways to improve Deep Packet Inspection engine.
- Reverse engineer and analyse new/undetected application traffic and prepare signature to detect those flows in DPI.
- Develop tools to automate DPI test tasks, simulation software to replicate real traffic scenarios.
- Analyse the recent requirements from operators, work on design, implementation and testing of the feature
- Fix the field reported issues in the ongoing PKG development cycle.
- Analyse SIT/SVT PKG issues and fix them as needed

Preferred Skills

- Should have at least 1 year prior experience in DPI domain
- Should have very good C programming skills
- Good understanding of Operating System concepts and x86 architecture
- Should have good data structure/algorithm skills
- Should have a fair understanding of networking domain and TCP/IP protocols
- Hands-on with tools like Wireshark and PCAP library
- Good team player and curiosity to learn

Optional Skills

Experience on below skills is highly valued

- Experience in any of scripting language like Python, Auto-IT and automation tools like Appium/Maestro is big plus
- Working experience in pattern matching, behavioural/Heuristic approaches for flow detection, encrypted flow detection
- Working experience in reverse engineering- Good understanding or experience in Hardware and Software based DPI engines
