Job Summary Our live video orchestration platform is the newest product from Amagi's video engineering group. It is cloud-native and automates how live events and channels are delivered to the world's largest streaming platforms, from scheduling through go-live, delivery, and archive. It already powers live sports delivery in production and is scaling to become the orchestration backbone for Amagi's next generation of distribution products.

You'll join early, with real ownership: a small team, a production system with real traffic, and the latitude to shape how it grows.

Location: Bengaluru

Responsibilities

- Build and evolve the platform's core orchestration engine in Go, including durable workflows, scheduling, and delivery automation.
- Operate and maintain durable workflow systems: modelling, retries, versioning, and scaling.
- Own deployment, cloud infrastructure, and security end-to-end, with no hand-offs to separate platform or security teams.
- Build the platform's agentic operations layer,



covering autonomous monitoring, triage, and L1/L2 incident resolution.
- Drive technical design for your areas, from RFC to production.
- Work AI-first, using coding agents to accelerate design, implementation, and testing.

Required Qualifications

- 2-4 years of skilled backend engineering experience.
- Production-level Go, including concurrency, testing, and profiling.
- Strong distributed-systems fundamentals: state, idempotency, retries, failure handling.
- Hands-on AWS experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CDK).
- Practical security fundamentals: IAM, secrets management, service-to-service auth.
- You have deployed, monitored, and been on-call for your own services.
- High bar on testing, CI/CD, and observability.

Nice to Have

- Temporal or similar durable workflow engines.
- Video streaming fundamentals (HLS/DASH, transcoding, DRM).
- LLM tool-calling or agent frameworks, especially for ops automation.
