Job Summary:

The Senior Two-Wheeler Mechanic is responsible for advanced diagnostics, complex mechanical and electrical repairs, and routine maintenance of motorcycles and scooters (for both ICE &

- EV ). Working within an authorized automobile dealership, this role requires high accuracy, leadership skills to mentor junior technicians, and adherence to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines. The ultimate goal is ensuring high-quality, "Right First Time" repairs to drive customer satisfaction.

- Perform advanced diagnostics on engine, transmission, fuel injection (FI) systems, and electrical faults using OBD scanners and computerized digital diagnostic tools.

- Execute major overhauls including engine rebuilding, gearbox repairs, and suspension tuning.

- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues, including wiring harnesses, sensors, digital consoles, and battery management systems.

- Conduct precise test rides to verify repair quality and ensure safety before vehicle delivery.

2. Mentorship &

- Workshop Operations

- Lead, train, and mentor junior technicians, apprentices, and helpers, ensuring strict adherence to dealership repair standards.

- Assist the Workshop Supervisor in distributing complex jobs to the appropriate team members.

- Audit jobs completed by junior staff to keep repeat repairs below agreed dealership targets.

3. Efficiency &

- Customer Satisfaction





- Meet vehicle turnaround time (TAT) targets for standard servicing and complex troubleshooting.

- Support Service Advisors in providing accurate cost and time estimates for extensive repair work.

- Maintain accurate digital and physical service records of all completed repairs.

4. Safety &

- Compliance

- Maintain clean work bays and follow standard workshop safety protocols to ensure zero reportable incidents.

- Properly handle, clean, and store heavy workshop tools, pneumatic equipment, and diagnostic scanners.

Requirements &

- Qualifications

- Education: ITI or Diploma in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.

- Experience: 3 to 6+ years of proven experience as a mechanic ( for both ICE &
- EV ) in a reputed two-wheeler dealership or service center

- Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of contemporary multi-brand or OEM systems (e.g., BS-VI compliance, electronic fuel injection, ABS, digital instrument clusters).

- Certifications: Manufacturer-specific training would be an added advantage.

- License: Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license to conduct test rides.

- Language: Knowledge of Tamil is required for effective internal team communication and customer interaction.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
