Role Description The Senior System Administrator is a full-time, in office role based in Al Khobar. This role is responsible for administering and maintaining servers, operating systems, networks, and core IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. Daily activities include monitoring systems, performing routine maintenance, resolving incidents, and implementing security and backup policies.

Administrator will analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and contribute to infrastructure upgrades and optimization projects. The role also involves documenting configurations and procedures, mentoring junior team members,



and supporting continuous improvement of IT operations in line with SAT Microsystems’ service standards.

Role SummaryLooking for an experienced L2/L3 Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer with hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365, Infrastructure Security, VMware, Backup & Disaster Recovery, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Key Responsibilities & Skills

- Microsoft 365: Administration and troubleshooting of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange Hybrid.
- Identity & Endpoint Management: Entra ID, Active Directory, MFA, Conditional Access, SSO, Intune, device compliance and patch management.
- Security: Microsoft Defender, EDR, endpoint security, vulnerability management, DLP and security incident resolution.
- Windows Infrastructure: Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, AD, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
- VMware: vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, VM provisioning, performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Backup & DR: Backup administration, Veeam, DR drills, failover/failback, RPO and RTO.
- OCI: Compute, Storage, VCN, Subnets, NSGs, IAM, monitoring and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Automation: PowerShell scripting for Windows and M365 administration.

Candidate Requirements
- Strong hands-on L2/L3 infrastructure support experience.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues and handle escalations.
- Experience in incident management, RCA and enterprise infrastructure operations.
- OCI experience is mandatory / strong priority for this requirement.
