PeopleCap is a specialist talent acquisition partner to banking, financial services, insurance, and WealthTech companies across India. We run searches that most firms find hard: niche roles, senior mandates, and clients who expect a shortlist that is genuinely fit, not a stack of forwarded resumes. We are a small, focused team, and we care about how the work is done, not just that it gets done.

About the role

This is a full-cycle delivery role for someone who can own mandates end to end and close them. You will take a brief from a client, build the search, engage the right candidates, and manage the process through to offer. You will work your own requisitions independently and set the standard for how sourcing and client communication should look on the desk.

What you will do

- Own a set of live mandates from intake to close, including sourcing, screening, submission, interview coordination, and offer stage.
- Take and interrogate the client brief properly, so you are searching for the right profile rather than a loose approximation of it.
- Build targeted search strategies for BFSI and WealthTech roles, going beyond job-board keyword matches to reach passive and hard-to-find talent.
- Screen rigorously, so that every profile you submit is one you can defend to the client.




- Treat every client rejection as information: capture why, adjust your approach, and raise your hit rate mandate over mandate.
- Keep clean, current records of candidates, submissions, and client feedback.
- Communicate with clients and candidates in a way that reflects well on PeopleCap at a senior level.

What we are looking for

- 3 to 6 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, in an agency or in-house, with a track record of actually closing roles.
- Experience hiring for BFSI, financial services, fintech, or WealthTech is strongly preferred.
- Genuine sourcing skill: you can find people who are not sitting on top of a job board.
- The judgement to screen for fit, and the self-discipline to improve your own approach based on outcomes rather than repeating what did not work.
- Clear, professional written and spoken communication.
- Comfort working from our Noida office, as a present and cooperative part of a small team.

How we work

- PeopleCap runs a work-from-office model, Monday to Friday, from our Noida office. We are deliberately small and intend to stay sharp rather than large. You will have real ownership of your mandates and the room to run them your way, alongside colleagues who hold the same standard.
