Qualification: BE/Diploma – Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and develop current vendors and suppliers.
- Handle technical and commercial procurement of engineering components.
- Understand engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications for cost estimation.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Manage procurement of imported, critical, and long-lead items.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Service, and Accounts departments.
- Monitor vendor performance, delivery timelines, quality, and cost-saving opportunities.
Required Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial engineering components.
- Experience in cost estimation from engineering drawings.
- Good vendor management and negotiation skills.
- ERP knowledge preferred.
- Experience in Heavy Engineering, Plastic Machinery, or Pharma Machinery manufacturing preferred.
