Role : Senior Power BI Developer – Snowflake / Semantic Layer

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build governed semantic and data foundations for enterprise reporting.
- Develop reusable business metrics, dimensions, hierarchies and Snowflake data models.
- Analyze and modernize legacy IBM Cognos reports, calculations, filters and extracts.
- Build data transformations, APIs and integrations for Power BI and other reporting platforms.
- Establish data quality, reconciliation, metadata, lineage, security and performance standards.
- Support reporting modernization, rationalization and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Collaborate with business, architecture and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Support CI/CD, deployment,



production troubleshooting and technical documentation.

Mandatory Skills
- 7+ years of hands-on Data Engineering / BI Development experience.
- Strong expertise in Power BI, Snowflake and Advanced SQL.
- Experience in dimensional data modelling and scalable data transformations.
- Hands-on experience building semantic models and governed metrics layers.
- Robust knowledge of Power BI Semantic Models and DAX.
- Python, APIs and data integration experience.
- Understanding of data quality, metadata, lineage, security and performance optimization.
- Git, CI/CD and automated testing experience.
