Position Overview:

The Planning Engineer is responsible for initiating, inspecting, and implementing various project planning and control activities. This role involves calculating heat load, attending meetings, checking drawings, preparing technical data sheets (TDS), and applying knowledge of chilled water and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Heat Load Calculations:

Perform accurate heat load calculations to determine the capacity and type of HVAC systems required.

Analyze data and provide energy-efficient recommendations.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all calculations.

Meeting Attendance:

Attend project meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to discuss project requirements, progress, and challenges.

Provide technical insights and support during meetings.

Document and communicate meeting outcomes and action items to relevant parties.

Drawing Checking:

Review and inspect design drawings for accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Identify and rectify discrepancies or errors in the drawings.





Collaborate with the design team to ensure drawings meet the required standards and guidelines.

Technical Data Sheets (TDS):

Prepare and maintain Technical Data Sheets (TDS) for various equipment and components.

Ensure TDS documents are up-to-date and easily accessible to team members and stakeholders.

Utilize TDS to support project planning and execution.

Knowledge of Chilled Water/VRF Systems:

Demonstrate a deep understanding of chilled water systems and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) technology.

Apply knowledge to design, implement, and troubleshoot these systems.

Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in chilled water and VRF systems.
