Senior Manager Income Accounting – 8+ Years – Mumbai

Are you an experienced Finance and Accounting professional with strong expertise in Revenue Accounting, Investment Fee Accounting, Asset Management and Financial Reporting? We are looking for a skilled professional to manage investment-related revenue accounting, client billing, financial controls and reporting within a global Asset Management environment.

Responsibilities

- Manage revenue accounting and reporting for investment-related income, including management fees, performance fees, trail commissions and rebates.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and half-yearly accounting close processes, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and financial reporting.
- Review and analyse revenue movements, fee calculations and AUM-related changes to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Manage client billing, fee calculations, invoicing and related reconciliations.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany accounting positions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external auditors and third-party service providers to ensure effective financial controls and compliance.
- Support audit requirements, process improvements, automation initiatives and development of team capabilities.
- Work closely with Asset Management, Finance, Reporting and Operations teams to ensure timely and accurate revenue management.

Requirements





- 8+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably within Asset Management or Investment Management.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Strong experience in Revenue Accounting, Income Accounting or Investment Fee Accounting.
- Hands-on exposure to management fee calculations, performance fees, revenue accruals and client billing.
- Experience in month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of investment management products, fund structures and revenue recognition processes.
- Experience with Revport (Broadridge) will be preferred.
- Working knowledge of SUN, Oracle ERP, Tagetik, Power BI and SQL will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
