ROLE OVERVIEW

Build, enhance, and support secure, high-volume Java applications for enterprise banking systems. The successful candidate will be hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, and AWS, and will deliver reliable code across the full software development lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java 11+ and Spring Boot.

- Build RESTful APIs and independently deployable microservices following sound object-oriented and design principles.

- Implement event-driven integrations and asynchronous processing using Apache Kafka.

- Develop and deploy services on AWS and contribute to CI/CD, containerization, logging, monitoring, and release readiness.

- Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot defects, and tune application performance.

- Collaborate with frontend, data, QA, architecture,



and business teams in an Agile delivery environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Robust hands-on Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and object-oriented design skills.

- Practical experience with Kafka and AWS in enterprise application development.

- Strong SQL, debugging, automated testing, Git, and performance-tuning capabilities.

- Knowledge of secure coding, distributed systems, and CI/CD practices.

- Banking or financial-services experience preferred; ability to work with enterprise standards and controls.

Work Arrangement: Candidates must be available to work onsite three days per week and collaborate with distributed teams.
