The organization works through close collaboration between development, architecture, security and operations teams, with a strong focus on highly available, secure and resilient services. Its culture centers on continuous improvement of automation, observability and operational excellence, and on spreading DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices across the company.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to support, automate and operate mission-critical cloud platforms and applications in Microsoft Azure. You will design, implement and maintain scalable platforms using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Azure-native services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. The role is hands-on, covering cloud operations, automation, production support and platform reliability. You will partner with development, architecture, security and operations teams while driving DevOps and SRE best practices.

Responsibilities

- Design, deploy and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, networking, storage, compute,



security and platform services.
- Implement and maintain Azure governance standards, including RBAC, Azure Policy, tagging strategies and cost management practices.
- Support cloud modernization, migration and platform standardization initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and operational processes.
- Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to cloud platform design decisions.
- Design, implement and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Develop reusable deployment frameworks and automation patterns using YAML pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- Integrate automated testing, security scanning, compliance validation and deployment approvals into delivery pipelines.
- Support application release management and deployment troubleshooting activities.
- Continuously improve deployment reliability, speed and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate and apply AI-assisted tools to improve automation, documentation, troubleshooting, incident analysis and operational efficiency.
- Deploy, manage and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
- Troubleshoot containerized applications and Kubernetes platform issues.
- Develop deployment and configuration standards for containerized workloads.
- Manage Azure Container Registry (ACR) integrations and image lifecycle practices.
- Assist development teams with containerization strategies and Kubernetes best practices.
- Implement high availability, scalability and resilience patterns within AKS environments.
- Monitor and support production environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, CheckMK, Grafana, Prometheus and related observability platforms.
- Proactively identify system health, performance, capacity and availability concerns.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and service disruptions.
- Participate in incident response, major incident management and root cause analysis activities.
- Drive improvements in reliability, resilience and operational maturity through SRE practices.





Must have skills

- 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering.
- Microsoft Azure (primary cloud platform).

- Terraform / HCP Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Azure DevOps (CI/CD and YAML pipelines).
- Observability and Reliability Engineering.

- Linux Administration.
- Windows Server Administration.
- Networking fundamentals.
- Incident and Problem Management.

- Foundational experience with AI-assisted engineering tools, automation platforms or applied AI use cases in cloud, DevOps or IT operations environments.
- English.

Nice to have skills

- Amazon Web Services (AWS), as secondary cloud experience.

Conditions

- 100% remote. Primary timezone UTC-5 (EST) with 6 hours of overlap. Open only to residents of India and Mexico.
- Contractor role: 12-month contract, renewable. After the 12 months there is the possibility of receiving a proposal to become a full time employee (FTE), with the option of a hybrid model in Pune/Chennai (India) or Monterrey (Mexico).
- Full-time dedication (40 hours/week).
- BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) is required.
