Role Description The Senior Audit Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruppur, responsible for supporting audit engagements and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of client financial information. Day-to-day activities include reviewing financial records, assisting in the preparation of audit reports, performing audit testing procedures, and verifying compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls. The role involves analyzing financial statements, identifying variances or irregularities, and collaborating with senior auditors and other team members to resolve issues.

Assistant will also help document audit findings, maintain organized work papers, and communicate audit results and recommendations to internal stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in finance, with the ability to interpret and apply financial concepts and principles.
- Experience working with financial statements, including preparation, review, and analysis.
- Hands-on involvement in financial audits, with familiarity in audit procedures, standards, and documentation.
- Capability to assist in the preparation and review of audit reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving, and data interpretation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (CA, CPA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team, and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
