L2 Core LSF Support Engineer

Location: Bangalore / Noida

Qualification: BE/B.Tech – CS/IT or related discipline

Support Model: 24x7 Production Support | US Customer Exposure

Role Summary

Responsible for L2 production support, administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of Lawson System Foundation (LSF) / Lawson S3 environments, ensuring system stability, performance and SLA adherence.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide 24x7 L2 production support for LSF/Lawson S3 applications.
- Troubleshoot LSF application issues, batch failures, interfaces, jobs, services and user access.
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, Shell scripting and SQL/Oracle.
- Analyze application/server logs, dumps and system errors and perform RCA.
- Support Lawson Environment (LAUA), security, configurations and user administration.
- Troubleshoot Lawson ProcessFlow, integrations, interfaces, web services and data extracts.
- Support batch processing, COBOL programs and database-related issues.
- Handle production incidents, problem management, changes, deployments, patches and upgrades.
- Coordinate with L3, DBA,



Infrastructure and Development teams for complex issues.
- Monitor application health, batch jobs and interfaces and proactively address failures.
- Maintain SOPs, knowledge articles and technical documentation.
- Participate in on-call/shift rotations and critical incident management.

Customer & Communication Skills

- Proven experience in handling US customers/stakeholders in a production support environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with robust customer-facing capability.
- Ability to manage high-priority incidents, escalations and SLA-driven support.
- Comfortable working across US time zones and 24x7 support schedules.
