We specialize in Autodesk Alias modelling services, supporting organizations with CAS and Class-A surface development.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Alias Modeller with strong expertise in CAS and Class-A surface modelling. Experience in Sub-D modelling will be additional Advantage.

The candidate should have ability to accurately understand the design intent, a strong understanding of surface quality and the ability to translate 2D sketches, design concepts, and scanned data into high-quality 3D surface models using Autodesk Alias.

The candidate will work closely with automotive design teams and engineering teams to develop and refine complex surface geometry while maintaining design intent, quality, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

- Create high-quality 3D surface models using Autodesk Alias.
- Translate 2D sketches, design concepts, scanned data and engineering inputs into accurate CAS-level surface models.
- Develop and refine Class-A surfaces with a robust focus on continuities, surface quality and manufacturability.
- Handle complex 3D geometry and ensure surfaces meet the design intent and necessary technical requirements.
- Perform necessary surface quality checks.




- Collaborate with designers, engineers and project managers throughout the design development process.
- Participate in design reviews, incorporate feedback, and deliver modelling updates within project timelines.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality surface data for engineering, prototyping, and production activities.
- Mentor junior Alias modellers and contribute to improving modelling standards, workflows and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Alias, with hands-on experience in CAS and Class-A surface modelling.
- Proven experience in automotive surfacing.
- Strong understanding of complex surface geometry, Surface continuity and surface refinement techniques.
- Ability to interpret design sketches, styling references, scanned models, and engineering inputs articulate these into precise 3D surfaces.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and incorporate design feedback effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and visual sensitivity to surface quality.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines.
- A relevant degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
