We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to join our team at the Exide Centre, Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students regarding available courses, career opportunities, and academic programs.
- Handle student enquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, and online leads.
- Understand students' educational backgrounds and career aspirations to recommend suitable courses.
- Explain course curriculum, duration, fees, admission procedures, and placement assistance.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain effective communication with students and parents to address their queries.
- Achieve monthly admission and counselling targets.




- Maintain accurate records of student enquiries, follow-ups, and admission status in CRM/ERP systems.
- Coordinate with the academic, marketing, and placement teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Participate in promotional activities, seminars, and student engagement programs.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA or relevant qualification will be preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in academic counselling, educational sales, admissions, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing, negotiation, and follow-up abilities.
- Target-oriented mindset with a passion for student counselling.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and CRM/ERP systems.
- Ability to build strong relationships with students and parents.
