Duties/Responsibilities/Activities:

Hand-over:

- Take charge at the start of shift. Collect daily reports from incumbent security in-charge. Go through reports and mail and ask about any special occurrences.

Deployment of Manpower

- The shift in-charge conducts pre-shift briefing and then deploys the security manpower, based on the set schedule.

- In-charge decides whom to deploy to the defined posts, and in case of absenteeism either asks personnel to continue through an extra shift or pulls up personnel from the following shift.

Daily Report

- Shift in-charge is expected to maintain a daily report which is handed over to the shift reliever.

Maintenance of Registers

- The shift in-charge needs to ensure that ALL the registers are being maintained & information is recorded in a timely fashion.

Record-keeping:

- Maintain ALL records & reports during shift, and hand-over to next shift in-charge.

- Submit daily roster to security in-charge on a daily basis.

TAPAL

- Ensure handover of TAPAL to respective locations and verify through register.

Material movement

- Check & verify all incoming & outgoing material with challan & record in register.

- Issue canteen coupons & toll cash (drivers). (Maintain record)

- Ensure the availability of two guards for head counting & frisking during the shift change.

- Supervise and provide help during surprise checks.

- Record rain data in rain log on a daily basis during monsoons.

- Rounds: In-charge is expected to take at least one round during their shift. During holidays including all Saturdays & Sundays,



perform two rounds in 1st shift & three rounds in 2nd shift.

Visitors:

- The shift in-charge is expected to receive any visitor.

- Complaints in regard to exterior infrastructure/water fountains/sliding gates/boom barrier/shutters & CCTV to be informed to concerned department & security in-charge.

- Post power failure, ensure operation of ALL gates & water fountain. In case of prolonged power failure contact the Electrical department.

Warehouse Specific Duties:

- Confirm vehicle entry checklist completion w/o deviation prior to allowing entry. For deviations, seek authorization from concerned department.

- For vehicles arriving after general working hours, seek authorization from concerned department prior to allowing entry.

Workplace Safety (Safety, ESG, IMS,)

- Understand and comply with all safety regulations, policies & procedures relevant to the workplace environment.

- Participate in safety training sessions & promptly report any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate authority at the workplace.

- Ensure strict adherence to the IMS standards & procedures and collaborate with relevant departments to maintain IMS documentation and records.

- Participate in IMS audits and assist in implementing corrective actions as needed.

- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards relevant to the workplace.

- Identify opportunities to reduce resource consumption and promote productive use of energy, water & other resources at the workplace.
