Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sapiens Decision Model Developer with strong expertise in the Insurance Property & Casualty (P&C;) domain and hands-on experience in Sapiens Decision Models. The ideal candidate should have a valuable technical background in Java and Spring Boot, along with experience in designing, modeling, implementing, and validating business rules for insurance underwriting processes.

Mandatory Skills

- Hands-on experience with Sapiens Decision Models.
- Relevant experience in the Insurance Property & Casualty (P&C;) domain.
- Experience in modeling and implementing business rules for insurance underwriting.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience in decision modeling and business rule implementation.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify key decisions within business processes and define the associated data and metadata requirements to ensure decisions are complete, accurate, and unambiguous.
- Design, construct, and maintain decision models of moderate complexity that accurately capture business rules for specific insurance product offerings.




- Develop and configure insurance-related decision models in Sapiens, such as:
- Eligibility Determination
- Risk Scoring
- Underwriting Decision Models
- Insurance Business Rule Models
- Translate business requirements into structured decision models and implement underwriting rules.
- Validate decision model accuracy by following established decision modeling principles and design standards.
- Develop and execute test cases to compare expected results against actual outcomes.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to ensure effective implementation of decision models.
- Support the development and integration of decision models using Java and Spring Boot.

Preferred Skills
- Experience setting up and configuring insurance domain-related models in Sapiens.
- Knowledge of insurance underwriting workflows and risk assessment processes.
- Experience with eligibility determination and risk-scoring model implementation.
- Understanding of decision modeling best practices and model validation techniques.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of overall IT experience.
- Immediate joiners preferred/required.
- Candidates must be available to collect company assets from Mumbai or Bangalore.
