Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Solution Manager Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Solution Manager implementation, configuration, administration, and support.

The candidate will be responsible for managing SAP Solution Manager 7.2 functionalities, including Change Request Management (ChaRM), IT Service Management (ITSM), Solution Documentation, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and technical monitoring.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SAP landscape management, managed-system configuration, transport management, and integration of SAP systems with Solution Manager, along with working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP Solution Manager Implementation & Administration

- Implement, configure, administer, and support SAP Solution Manager 7.2.
- Perform configuration and operational activities across various Solution Manager functionalities.
- Manage SAP landscape setup, system connections, and managed-system configuration.
- Integrate SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems with SAP Solution Manager.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth functioning of Solution Manager environments.

2. Change Request Management (ChaRM)

- Configure and support SAP ChaRM workflows and change-control processes.
- Manage transport requests, approvals, and release management activities.
- Ensure compliance with change management policies and procedures.
- Monitor and troubleshoot transport and change-related issues.
- Coordinate with functional and technical teams for change deployments.

3. Monitoring & Alert Management





- Configure and support Technical Monitoring and System Monitoring.
- Manage Job Monitoring, Interface Monitoring, and EarlyWatch Alert.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and technical health.
- Analyze alerts, identify root causes, and coordinate issue resolution.
- Ensure proactive monitoring of SAP landscapes.

4. IT Service Management & Application Lifecycle Management

- Configure and support SAP IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Manage incident, problem, and service request processes.
- Work with Solution Documentation and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
- Maintain technical and functional solution documentation.
- Support application lifecycle activities and operational governance.

5. Test Management & Process Management

- Support SAP Solution Manager Test Suite and Test Management functionalities.
- Coordinate test planning, execution, and defect management activities.
- Maintain business process documentation and related technical information.
- Support business process monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills
- Robust hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager 7.2.
- Expertise in SAP Solution Manager implementation, configuration, administration, and support.
- Experience with Change Request Management (ChaRM).
- Strong knowledge of SAP IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Experience with Solution Documentation and Application Lifecycle Management.




- Hands-on experience with Technical Monitoring and System Monitoring.
- Knowledge of Job Monitoring, Interface Monitoring, and EarlyWatch Alert.
- Understanding of SAP landscape management and managed-system configuration.
- Experience integrating SAP systems with Solution Manager.
- Knowledge of SAP transport management and change-control processes.
- Exposure to Test Suite and Test Management.
- Good understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA landscapes.

Required Experience & Qualifications
- Strong experience in SAP Solution Manager 7.2 implementation and operational support.
- Proven expertise in ChaRM configuration and transport management.
- Experience supporting SAP technical monitoring and ITSM processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot Solution Manager configuration and integration issues.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional SAP teams.

Good to Have
- Experience supporting large and complex SAP landscapes.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformation and migration projects.
- Knowledge of SAP Basis administration.
- Experience with SAP Focused Run or other SAP monitoring solutions.
- Understanding of SAP Activate methodology and application lifecycle governance.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a technically strong SAP Solution Manager Consultant with extensive hands-on experience in SolMan 7.2, ChaRM, ITSM, monitoring, and application lifecycle management. The candidate should be capable of independently managing Solution Manager configurations, supporting SAP system integrations, and ensuring effective change management and operational monitoring across enterprise SAP landscapes.
