Urgent Hiring | SAP MDG Functional Consultant

We are hiring an experienced SAP MDG Functional Consultant for Saint-Gobain, Mumbai. We are looking for a robust functional professional with expertise in Master Data Governance, SAP MDG configuration, data quality management, and business process governance.

Position Details

- Job Title: SAP MDG Functional Consultant
- Location: Mumbai
- Experience: 10–13 Years
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 8+ Years in SAP MDG
- Work Mode: 5 Days Work From Office (WFO)

Role Preference
- Primary Preference: Strong SAP MDG Functional Consultants.
- Secondary Preference: SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultants, only if suitable functional profiles are unavailable.

Key Responsibilities & Technical Requirements 1. SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)

- Strong expertise in SAP Master Data Management (MDM) and SAP MDG functional configuration.
- Hands-on experience with SAP MDG-M (Material), MDG-S (Supplier), MDG-C (Customer), and MDG-BP (Business Partner).
- Strong understanding of Customer, Supplier, Finance, and Material Master Data processes.
- Experience in configuring and managing at least two master data domains.

2. Functional Configuration & Business Process Governance

- Expertise in SAP MDG functional configuration and master data governance processes.
- Strong understanding of business processes, data governance frameworks, and master data lifecycle management.




- Hands-on experience with Change Requests, BRF+ rules, and SAP Workflow configuration.
- Understanding of functional integration with SAP SD, MM, and FI modules.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA MDG is preferred.

3. Data Quality & Data Management

- Experience in data quality management, data cleansing, and data harmonization.
- Knowledge of data migration, data validation, de-duplication, and mass data changes.
- Understanding of data replication and master data distribution processes.
- Experience ensuring data accuracy, consistency, compliance, and governance.

4. SAP MDG Technical Knowledge (For Techno-Functional Profiles)

- Understanding of SAP MDG technical framework, including BADI, BAPI, RFC, Function Modules, and Enterprise Services.
- Knowledge of Data Replication Framework (DRF), IDoc, SOA, and ALE.
- Exposure to BRF+, workflow administration, and debugging.
- Understanding of UI technologies such as Fiori, Web Dynpro, and Floorplan Manager.
