Job Overview
We are looking for a SAP Data Extraction & Compliance Executive with basic SAP knowledge and experience in extracting, validating and preparing tax-related reports for statutory return filing. The candidate will coordinate with the Accounts, Supply Chain teams and external tax consultants to ensure accurate and complete data submission.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract various reports from SAP, including General Ledger (GL), Trial Balance (TB) and other reports required for tax filing.
- Extract TDS liability reports, GSTR-1, GSTR-6 and GSTR-3B related reports, Purchase Register, E-invoice reports and GL extracts.
- Verify the correctness and completeness of extracted reports and perform necessary manual data checks before sharing them with tax consultants for return filing.
- Verify MSME vendor status and compute interest and disallowances under the Income Tax Act.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Accounts teams for MSME-related verification and tax compliance activities.
- Verify PAN and GSTIN details through the relevant government portals.
- Ensure Professional Tax return filing and payments across various states.
- Coordinate with relevant tax consultants and internal teams for timely submission of tax-related information.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of SAP and SAP data extraction.
- Knowledge of GL/TB reports and tax-related reporting.
- Understanding of TDS and GST reports and compliance requirements.
- Experience in data validation, reconciliation and report verification.
- Knowledge of MSME vendor verification and Income Tax Act provisions.
- PAN and GSTIN verification through government portals.
- Knowledge of Professional Tax returns and payments.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
Technical Requirements
- ERP: SAP (Preferred)
- Excel: Advanced Excel Preferred
- Relevant Experience: Tax data extraction, GST/TDS reporting, reconciliation and tax compliance support.
