Role Description The Salesforce Solution Architect (CPQ/Revenue Cloud) contract role is responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end Salesforce solutions that support complex quoting, pricing, and revenue processes. This remote position involves translating business requirements into scalable Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud architectures, configuring and integrating systems, and guiding technical teams through solution design and delivery.

- Technical lead for the offshore team: turns architecture into detailed design and quality-assured build.
- Strong Solution Architecture skills in Salesforce, with specific experience in CPQ and Revenue Cloud.
- Consulting experience, including stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Hands-on Software Development capabilities in the Salesforce ecosystem (Apex, Lightning, configuration) as needed to support complex implementations.
- Integration expertise with Salesforce and external systems,



including APIs, middleware, and data synchronization strategies.
- Business Process understanding in quote-to-cash, billing, and revenue recognition, with the ability to model and optimize workflows.

Key responsibilities

- Analyse existing CPQ orgs: metadata, QCP, price and product rules, approvals, templates and code on CPQ objects.
- Produce fit-gap analysis and detailed technical designs for CPQ or Revenue Cloud.
- Lead build: assign tasks, review all configuration and code, enforce coding and design standards.
- Re-platform CPQ logic (QCP, price rules, bundles) into Revenue Cloud pricing procedures and catalog.
- Design data migration mappings, transformation rules and reconciliation.
- Own environment strategy, CI/CD and deployments; lead technical support through testing and hypercare.

Requirements

- 7+ years of Salesforce experience, including 4+ years designing and building Salesforce CPQ solutions.
- Working knowledge of Revenue Cloud concepts such as pricing procedures, product catalog, configurator and context definitions, with hands-on exposure preferred.
- Solid Apex, flows and QCP (JavaScript) skills.
- CI/CD on Salesforce (Salesforce CLI, Git, Azure DevOps, Copado or Gearset).
- Clear technical documentation.

- Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Platform Developer I and II, Revenue Cloud Accredited Professional.
- CPQ-to-Revenue Cloud migration experience.
- MuleSoft or ERP integration exposure.
