Sales Learning and Development Manager (L&D;)

Objectives of this role

- You are responsible for bridging the gap between product knowledge, selling methodology, and field execution and will ensure sales representatives have the skills, tools, and mindset needed to shorten ramp-up time, increase win rates, and hit revenue quotas.
- Ensure that the opportunities for learning and growth are readily available to employees as an L&D; manager
- Work toward getting the right training resources to employees that will aid them in reaching their full potential
- Guarantee organisational growth in a company by enabling individual and personal growth for an employee
- Develop programs that are tailor-made to deliver outstanding results
- Deep dive into new training methods and global trends in development through the right learning in human resources management

Core Responsibilities

Sales Onboarding:





F Design and execute structured onboarding paths for current sales hires (SDRs, BDEs, and Account Executives) to accelerate time-to-first-deal.

Curriculum & Program Design:

F Develop engaging training modules covering product knowledge, value propositions, objection handling, pricing negotiations, and sales methodologies.

F Design training programs that are pertinent to certain roles or organisational goals in a company

F Ensure that learning materials and resources are easily and readily available to the learners

Delivery & Facilitation:

F Lead live workshops, role-playing sessions, virtual webinars, and 1-on-1 coaching for sales reps.

F Manage other aspects of learning, such as timelines and budgets, as a learning and development manager

F Assist, guide and advise employees who are undergoing training programs or who want to explore learning opportunities

F Hire learning and development specialists and be a point of contact between the company and the external trainers

Sales Enablement Integration:

F Partner with product marketing and sales operations to roll out new feature updates, playbooks, and competitive battlecards.

Performance & Gap Analysis:

F Track rep performance metrics, evaluate skill gaps, and measure training effectiveness using data and LMS analytics.

Continuous Coaching:

F Work closely with managers to reinforce training concepts in daily huddles and field rides.

F Assess the success and effectiveness of the training plans and make appropriate changes to them to further enhance their results within the scope of the learning and development manager role

Preferred candidate profile

1. Master’s degree in human resources,



education or a related area of study with 6-8 Years experience working as a learning and development manager.

2. Deep understanding of the full sales cycle, pipeline management, consultative selling, and CRM workflows.

3. Knowledge of adult learning principles and experience building interactive e-learning or workshop materials.

4. Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and sales enablement platforms.

5. Knowledge of learning and developmental theories and practices.

6. Experience in identifying, designing and maintaining learning programs.

7. Strong public speaking, executive presence, empathy, stakeholder management, a data-driven mindset. organisational and time management skills.

8. Expert-level knowledge in MS Office and making presentations.
