About House of Mahalakshmi

House of Mahalakshmi is a premium furniture and home décor brand based in Coimbatore. We're part of Mahalakshmi Timber Exports & Imports Pvt. Ltd., a family business that has been in timber since 1960. We offer curated indoor furniture and Le Jardin, our outdoor collection, for premium homes, villas, resorts and hospitality projects. Viewings are by appointment.

About the role

We're looking for a Sales Executive to grow our business with architects, interior designers and premium builders. You'll meet them in person, build strong relationships, get our furniture recommended for their projects, and take each enquiry all the way to a confirmed order. This is a field role, and you'll be the face of House of Mahalakshmi to the design community.

Key responsibilities

- Visit architecture firms, interior design studios, builders and resort/hospitality developers across Coimbatore and nearby areas (Tiruppur, Erode, Ooty/Coonoor)
- Present our indoor and outdoor ranges using catalogues and samples
- Arrange viewing appointments for architects and their clients
- Follow up regularly by visit, call and WhatsApp so House of Mahalakshmi stays top of mind
- Take enquiries through quotation, negotiation and order confirmation.
- Stay in touch with clients after the order, with delivery updates and help on any further needs
- Log every visit, lead and follow-up in our pipeline tracker (Google Sheets) the same day
- Achieve monthly targets for visits, viewings and orders closed
- Share market feedback on competitor brands,

Requirements

- 2–5 years of field sales experience, preferably selling to architects or interior designers (furniture, interiors, tiles, lighting, sanitaryware, laminates, modular kitchens or similar)
- Existing contacts with architects and designers in Coimbatore are a robust advantage
- Fluent in Tamil and English (spoken, plus written English for WhatsApp and email)
- Presentable and confident when dealing with senior design professionals and premium clients
- Own two-wheeler or car, with a valid driving licence
- Self-driven, organised and target-oriented
- Graduate in any discipline
