Role Description The Resort Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations at Chidambara Vilas, ensuring seamless guest experiences and high standards of service across all departments. This full-time, on-site role based in Karaikudi includes managing front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and property maintenance while coordinating schedules and resources. The role involves monitoring guest feedback, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining solid relationships with guests, staff, and local partners.

The Resort

Manager will handle budgeting and cost control, support hiring and training of team members,



implement operational policies, and uphold the resort’s heritage values and brand standards. The position also includes supporting niche events and private celebrations, ensuring they reflect the resort’s unique character and quality.

Qualifications

- Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to create personalized and memorable guest experiences.
- Property Management skills including coordination of housekeeping, maintenance, and overall facility upkeep.
- Budgeting and cost control experience to manage operational expenses and support revenue goals.
- Hiring and team management skills, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance oversight.
- Proven experience in resort, hotel, or hospitality management, preferably in boutique or heritage properties.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative management style.
- Ability to work on-site in Karaikudi, with flexibility to manage operations during weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
