Description The Remote Tax Accountant will work full time and be responsible for preparing and reviewing Personal and Corporate tax returns in accordance with applicable Canadian tax laws and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring tax compliance, analyzing financial records, preparing and reconciling financial statements, and supporting bookkeeping activities as needed. The role involves advising clients on tax planning opportunities, identifying potential tax issues, and communicating complex tax concepts in clear, accessible language.

The Tax

Accountant will collaborate with other team members virtually,



maintain accurate documentation, and use accounting software and tax platforms to deliver timely, high-quality service in a fully remote work environment.

Qualifications

- Tax Preparation, and Tax Compliance, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Accounting and Financial Statements, including preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience with tax and accounting software, Advance Excel user, and document management tools in a remote setting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain tax and accounting concepts to clients clearly.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple client engagements, and meet deadlines in a remote, full time role.
