Regional Sales Manager – South India

Territory: Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana

Reporting To: CEO / Management

Job Objective To drive COMEY's shirt sales across South India by developing a strong distributor network, managing Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and achieving regional sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand COMEY's market presence across South India.
- Recruit, manage and guide Area Sales Managers across different states.
- Identify, appoint and develop distributors in key cities and districts.
- Set monthly sales targets for ASMs and distributors and ensure achievement.
- Monitor daily sales performance, order generation, collections and distributor outstanding payments.
- Build strong relationships with distributors and key market partners.
- Identify current markets and business expansion opportunities.
- Conduct regular market visits, team reviews and distributor meetings.
- Coordinate with production, dispatch and management teams for smooth business operations.

Target & Performance
- Initial regional sales target




- Build and manage a team of Area Sales Managers.
- Develop an active distributor network across all five South Indian states.
- Ensure consistent monthly sales growth and timely collections.

Candidate Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred.
- 10-15 years of sales management experience.
- Experience in garments, textiles, apparel or FMCG distribution preferred.
- Proven experience in distributor appointment and team management.
- Strong leadership, negotiation and business development skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across South India.
