Responsibilities

- Design modular, scalable systems and participate in key technical decisions
- Optimise latency, throughput and resilience; and eliminate bottlenecks
- Own CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, coding standards and observability
- Contribute code for legacy refactoring and critical architectural changes

Requirements

- 2 or 3 years building live systematic trading or quantitative systems
- Solid experience in software architecture, distributed systems and high performance computing
- Has designed at least one trading system or major module end to end
- Advanced Python skills, including performance optimisation, concurrency and data processing
- Experience with databases, caching, messaging systems, CI/CD and production infrastructure

An engineer who owns the system. Mainly architecture and quality, with coding secondary.
