Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and technically competent Quality Engineer with prior experience in the manufacturing of fasteners, particularly Nuts, Bolts, Washers and galvanised products. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining product quality, implementing quality standards, conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with customer specifications throughout the manufacturing and galvanising processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and maintain quality standards across the manufacturing process of Nuts, Bolts, Washers and other fasteners.
- Conduct incoming, in-process and final quality inspections.
- Monitor quality parameters during hot-dip galvanising (GI) processes.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy, thread quality, coating thickness and other product specifications.
- Handle inspection instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Thread Gauges, Coating Thickness Gauges and other measuring equipment.
- Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, documentation and records.
- Identify quality issues, analyse root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with applicable IS, ISO and customer-specific quality standards.
- Coordinate with production,



galvanising and dispatch departments to ensure consistent product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in the fasteners manufacturing industry.
- Previous experience in Nuts, Bolts, GI Washers and Galvanised Fasteners manufacturing is mandatory.
- Positive understanding of dimensional inspection, thread inspection and coating thickness measurement.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, inspection procedures and quality documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates currently working in Nuts & Bolts / Fasteners manufacturing companies will be preferred.
- Candidates must have practical shop-floor quality control experience.
- Experience in both fastener manufacturing and GI galvanising quality control will be an added advantage.
