ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a QA Engineer (Automation) with 2+ years of experience in testing and automating web applications and APIs. You will own the quality of our products — from understanding requirements to building automation suites and signing off releases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios based on requirements and user stories.
- Build and maintain automation scripts for web UI and REST API testing.
- Perform API testing — validate responses, status codes, and authentication (JWT / OAuth).
- Perform manual exploratory and cross-browser testing where automation is not yet practical.
- Runregression and functional tests; integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyse test failures, fix flaky tests, and share clear test reports and release sign-off.
- Logandverify defects with clear steps; collaborate with developers and BAs in an Agile team.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- 2+yearsof hands-on experience in test automation.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress using Java or JavaScript / TypeScript.




- API testing using Postman or similar tools; basic SQL for data validation.
- Goodunderstanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of test design techniques — boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, and negative testing.
- Experience with automation framework design (e.g., Page Object Model) and reusable test utilities.
- Experience with Jira (or similar), Git, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

GOODTOHAVE

- Performance testing with JMeter or k6; mobile testing with Appium.
- Exposure to Docker, AWS, or Cucumber (BDD); use of AI tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor).
- Experience with MongoDB or testing Node.js / Angular / React-based applications.
- ISTQBFoundation Level certification.

Pay: ₹317,000.00 - ₹690,000.00 per year
