Role Description The Purchase Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The role involves managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including reviewing purchase requisitions, preparing and issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

The Purchase

Executive will identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain accurate records of procurement transactions. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams to understand requirements, monitoring inventory levels, resolving discrepancies with vendors,



and supporting cost-effective purchasing decisions. The position also requires maintaining compliance with company policies and contributing to process improvements in purchase management.

Qualifications

10th

- Strong skills in purchase management, including handling purchase orders and purchase requisitions.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices for supplier evaluation and negotiation.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Ability to work with inventory and ERP or purchasing software; proficiency in MS Excel or similar tools.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or trading.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical purchasing practices.
