Roles & Responsibility - Costing & Estimation of Forging & Casting parts.

- Technical Study of Drawing for manufacturability with respect to specifications and GD&T;, Forging & casting Weight Calculation, Finish Weight Calculation, Zero based costing, Prod Costing, MHR calculation, Cycle time, etc.

- Getting quotation and negotiating for the best possible rates for materials Quotation comparison, negotiation, terms & conditions finalization.

- Responsible for Implementation of Value engineering ideas released by R&D.;

- Must have knowledge of all manufacturing process of forging & casting

- Current vendor development & Feasibility of Drawings with Vendor & CFT.

- Knowledge of ERP / SAP system.

- Co-ordinate with Inter department for all activities for smooth workflow.

- Follow-up with supplier for NPD parts

- Maintaining MIS and maintain the records as per system Requirement.

- Knowledge of processes like PPAP, FMEA, APQP, ISO & TS norms etc.

- Responsible for New product development such as Forging / Casting.
