Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Purchase Assistant role based in Panvel Taluka.

The Purchase

Assistant will support day-to-day procurement activities, including preparing and processing purchase orders, maintaining vendor records, and tracking deliveries. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to understand material and service requirements, obtaining quotations, and comparing prices and terms.

Assistant will assist in monitoring inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment, and resolving basic issues related to orders, deliveries, and invoices.



The position requires accurate documentation, adherence to company purchasing procedures, and clear communication with suppliers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Purchasing Processes and Procurement to support end-to-end purchasing activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Purchasing and Purchase Orders to manage order creation, approvals, and follow-up.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to work effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and other stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and vendor management tools or software is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to follow structured procedures are required.
- Prior experience in a purchasing or administrative support role, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare-related environment, is an advantage.
- A relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
