Key Responsibilities of a Production Supervisor The major duties of a production supervisor include the following:

- Implementing production plans and schedules to meet production objectives.
- Monitoring production processes to ensure that they operate safely and efficiently and identifying areas for improvement.
- Coordinating and assigning tasks to production staff and ensuring that all staff members receive appropriate training to perform routine duties effectively.
- Conducting regular equipment and machinery inspections to identify potential issues and coordinating with maintenance staff to make sure repairs and servicing happen as necessary.
- Ensuring that quality control standards and protocols apply to a production process and addressing quality-related issues that may arise.
- Responsible for implementation of 5S on shop floor
- Responsible of monitoring & Improvement in OEE.
